Bermuda is a stunning place with beautiful beaches, covered with soft pink sand along with volcanic rocks on display. Bermuda has lots of rocks in the water but only a rock with a tree on it gets to be called an Island. Most of the Islands are owned by wealthy Bermudians and their homes are freaking beautiful and very expensive so please ensure that your wallet is heavy, heavy...HA! Bermuda is an island located in the Atlantic Ocean, which means the weather isn't always as warm as you think it might be, so ensure that you take a coat, cardigan or jacket with you. Bermudians are very polite and helpful or at least the one's I've met. The infrastructure on the island is very colourful people are allowed to paint their houses in any colour they chooses which means paint shopping could be very fun. The rooftops are all designed the same to preserve and filter rain water which is then stored in tanks underneath each houses. In Bermuda there is one vehicle to every household and visitors aren't allowed to rent a vehicle but you can definitely rent a scooter, take the bus or hop in a taxi to get where ever you want to go. The speed limit is 30mph because the roads are really narrow. There is a lot of boating activities on the island so its a must that you visit Dockyard and I would suggest doing the boat tour about the island you won't be disappointed..... trust me. We took a trip on the tour boat Excellence and it lived up to it's name and we also did a tour of Crystal Caves which was absolutely amazing and worth seeing. I love to travel and I always get excited to meet Jamaicans around the world and I met loads in Bermuda. There is a place called Yo Cherry, it's an ice-cream parlour owned by a Jamaican man , if your ever go to Bermuda you should definitely try the Dragon Stout or Rum and Raisin ice-cream at Yo Cherry. Anyway, There are some really lovely restaurants on the island, the food is yummy and there is an automatic 17% service charge to the bill.....insane right!? Ps. Bermuda is known for their stone Moon Gates and Rum Swizzles. I got no photos of the former and not enough gulps of the latter. I guess that means I'll have to go back sometime!
