![]() This all started with the men but it got so popular in the 70's that women had to jump on the bandwagon...well done ladies of the century HA! I think the Knit Vest which is known in America as Sweater Vest is a miracle piece for the winter months because it reduces bulk and will keep you looking stylish. This vest has an attached cowl neckline that is not overly exaggerated which I love, so, instead of wearing a button-down shirt with fitted sleeves I opted for something more elaborate with this bell-sleeve blouse. My knit vest is of a neutral khaki colour and it also has a dropped stitch pattern style and I like the fact that they're vertically positioned because it gives the illusion of length. I then decided to pair it with my ever so flattering bootcut jeans which is just the right width for my height. I wanted to keep a balance flow with the darker colour so that the knit vest would stand out in it's own right. I pretty much kept this look simple and teamed it up with a pointed bootie.
